What is Dext?
Dext, formerly known as Receipt Bank is your new digital filing cabinet :)
It uses advanced Optical Character Recognition technology to accurately extract key data from your receipts, invoices and bills. This removes the need for manual data entry and optimises accuracy and efficiency, as our time is better spend reviewing receipts rather than coding them from scratch.
From our experience Dext has an error rate of less than 1%, which is less than the error rate that arising from human error. We use Dext ourselves and as a result our own bookkeeping takes us less than 5 minutes per day.
Dext is simple to use. We’ll do most of the work, including fine tuning the settings and exporting the data into your accounting system.
In fact all you really need to do is ensure that all of the paperwork is getting into the system. Once they are in the system, the physical copies can go straight into the bin!
